Securitrack offers?
Highly accurate fault placement control
The automatic tension management system, in
combination with the Printrack controller and unwind motor drive
controller, provide the smoothest transition of tension in the
unwind system in the industry. That means that the fault
retrieval mechanism on the high-security module is under better
tension control, leading to highly accurate fault placement
control.
Front-supported idler system
Because the idler system is
front-supported, it can be designed to incorporate
characteristics which lead to less web flutter, bounce, tension
and web elongation during operation. This is highly critical
when monitoring images pixel by pixel.
Lower bearing friction and special tube design
We have also reduced idler inertia through
special tube and bearing design for our high security module.
This is essential to keep the web moving through the festoon at
a desired tension without elongating or shortening (essential
because a festoon requires multiple idlers, each of which can
have a large impact on friction and inertia unless they are
specially engineered not to do so). Virtually all competitors
use standard bearings and idlers in their fault retrieval
systems without taking friction or inertia into account.
Superior controls
Securitrack’s control system smoothly stops
the unwind roll at the highest possible rate. In other words, it
stops as fast as it can without cinching the unwind roll.
